I am on-location photographer based in Turlock, CA. I would describe myself as a lifestyle photographer. The best images are captured when everyone is relaxed and enjoying each other. Moments like this are my specialty.

Is It Really That Time Of Year Already?

It is sad to say, but it is that time of year.  I cannot believe it.  I almost cannot admit it, but Labor Day has passed.  We are now heading into the Fall season.  That leads into Thanksgiving and then Christmas.

Now is the time to book your sessions for Christmas cards.  I have a variety to offer you.  All of my cards are double sided 5×5 or 5×7 cards.  They are printed on very nice quality pearl paper.  I have samples of the paper, if you would like to see and feel it.

My weekends are booking up.  My deadline for ordering cards is December 1st.  That will ensure timely arrival of your cards.

I Love Being a Newborn Photographer in Turlock - Sneak Peek

I get excited when someone calls to book a newborn session.  I love newborns.  I love everything about them.  They are so innocent and pure.

I had a session today with Miss Haley.  She was born a little early and was the smallest baby I have ever photographed.  With a current weight of just over 5 pounds, she is half of what my first born son weighed.  Everything about her is dainty and feminine.  She has tiny little features and made the best facial expressions.  I could have sat and watched her for hours.  In fact, I did sit and watch her for quite some time.  Scott and Chrissy, thank you for sharing your precious girl with me!

A Darling Turlock Clan - Sneak Peek

This group of kids was a blast!  Four children ages 9 and under require quite a bit of energy.  Their mom worked very hard being my assistant.  I am sure she went in and took a nap when we were done.  My favorite picture is where the two year old really wanted to see himself in my camera.  He was quite convincing!

High School Friends - Sneak Peek

How many people regularly meet with friends from high school?  How many can say they have done it for more than 10 years?  How about 20 years?  Not many, I am sure.  I had the joy of photographing a group of ladies yesterday.  They are high school friends and still regularly meet with one another.  They enjoy getting together and sharing their lives.  In fact, they have shared their lives through children and grandchildren.  It is truly an amazing story of friendship through the years.

Siblings and Cousins! - Sneak Peek

It is a great pleasure of mine to photograph kids that I have known for several years.  Today, I had the joy of photographing some kids that I have watched grow over the last twelve years.  It is something else to go from toddlers to having them drive themselves to a photo session.  They were great fun to work with.  I look forward to many more years of seeing them accomplish their goals.

Dallas - the Cutest Little Man Out There! - Sneak Peak

Dallas was such a handsome little man!  He was so easy going and happy.  I had such a joy photographing him.  I traveled outside of my hometown of Turlock to Merced to meet him.  It was well worth my trip!

Photographer Kid Swap

Often, photographer’s children have something we call “Photographer’s Kid Syndrome”.  It is when we cannot get our children to take a decent picture.  They are very bored by their parent constantly having a camera in their face.  So, in order to avoid this, we enlist other photographers to take pictures of our children.  Yesterday, I had the pleasure of swapping sessions with a local photographer.  She and I are friends.  We help each other out and challenge one another to improve areas of our photography.

These are her darling little guys.  We had such a great time.  Two women and five boys taking pictures for over two hours.  We did bribe a little, but nothing more than usual.  I think we both got some great shots we can print and have in our homes.

Baby Mae 1 Year Later - Sneak Peek

Baby Mae is no longer a little baby!  Maecie was one of my first newborns to take pictures of.  I cannot believe she  just turned 1.  Wow, how fast a year goes.  I had the great pleasure of doing her one year picture.  We also threw Max and her parents into the picture.

I am posting one of her newborn shots as a comparison to how much she has grown.  Happy Birthday, Baby Mae!

Sarah Senior Pictures-Snapshot

I had the great pleasure of photographing my niece.  Sarah is about to start her senior year of high school.   I remember the day Sarah was born.  Paul and I were dating at the time and he called to say that Marcy had a girl.  With all boys in the family, everyone was sure Sarah was going to be a boy.  Everyone was so surprised!  I have watched her grow over the years into a beautiful young lady.  I cannot wait to see what she does with the rest of her life.

Sarah, we love you and are so proud of who you are.

Sophia Sneak Peek

Sophia was one of the easiest newborn to take pictures of.  She was so peaceful and handled her sisters with ease.  It was fun to see how much her family is enjoying her.  Life with three girls is sure to be fun!
